The organisation faced critical security vulnerabilities across five major strategic sites due to inferior physical security management. This systemic failure resulted in repeated breaches during external penetration testing, leaving several thousand employees and high-value assets exposed to significant operational and reputational risk.
Retained to lead a comprehensive security transformation to protect the firm’s assets, reputation, and workforce. My mandate was to overhaul underperforming third-party security contractor services, re-engineer all site Assignment Instructions (AIs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and elevate performance to meet rigorous national security audit standards.
I successfully transitioned the organisation’s security posture from a state of failure to “Excellent Service Provision” status. Under my command, the business passed the National Security Audit with a perfect record. My leadership resulted in the consistent exceeding of all Monthly Service Level Agreements (SLAs), earning multiple financial performance bonuses, professional awards, and over 20 formal commendations for my security management excellence.
